Keri Russell and her husband Shane Deary welcomed a daughter on Tuesday December 27. This is the second child for the couple, who are parents already to a son, River, 4½.
In 2008, Russell shared her feelings on pregnancy and birth with the New York Observer after watching the premier of Ricki Lake's documentary, The Business of Being Born:
"I just feel like birth is one of the most powerful things that can happen to a woman, And it's nice to be reminded that you are built to do this."
