Toni Collette has protective arms around her new bundle of joy,1 month old son Arlo (born Friday, April 22--Good Friday.)
Collette and hubby David Galafassi are also parents to daughter Sage, who's 3.
Hopefully baby Arlo will make the recent cancellation of his mom's TV show a little easier to take.
Showtime has decided not to renew United States of Tara after its third season ends this summer. The show, created by Diablo Cody and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, was centered around a family whose mother suffers from a multiple personality disorder. Toni Collette, stars as the housewife, and the actress won an Emmy in 2009 and a Golden Globe in 2010 for her performance on the comedy.
The cancellation news will probably not slow down this busy mommy though-- this year alone, Collette already has three films coming out - Fright Night, Foster and Jesus Henry Christ.
